What is Jstor?

JSTOR provides access to more than 12 million journal articlesbooksimages, and primary sources in 75 disciplines.

We help you explore a wide range of scholarly content through a powerful research and teaching platform. We collaborate with the academic community to help libraries connect students and faculty to vital content while lowering costs and increasing shelf space, provide independent researchers with free and low-cost access to scholarship, and help publishers reach new audiences and preserve their content for future generations.

How can I access Jstor?

To access Jstor, simply log in to Jstor with your Koç School Google(mail) account!

Step 1:   Go to (jstor.org) by clicking the Jstor image at the top of the page

Step 2:  Click the login button at the top right 

Step 3: Click Login with Google Account on the page that opens.

Step 4: Select the Koç School account from the open list of google accounts. (If your Koç School account is not listed, you should click on the Use another account option and enter your Koç School e-mail address.)

Step 5: When you log in for the first time, you will be a message to create a Jstor account. Here you have to click the Create New Account button by giving permission. This will automatically create a personal Jstor account. If you do not create it, you can still access all the publications, but you cannot use the personalization features such as note-taking, saving, etc.

*You can access all publications on campus without opening an account. However, if you do not open an account, you cannot use the personalization features such as saving, note taking, etc. 

*Your Koç School Google account is the account of your Koç School e-mail address.
